• Read Savage Inequalities to p. 175.
• Read Foundations of American Education Chapter 2 and take optional reading quiz.
  • Be prepared to teach the class about one section of the chapter. Your teaching should include:
    • A statement that summarizes what you believe is the main point of the section.
    • 3-4 sentences about the content of the section that that support/illustrate your view.
    • Your reaction to this point.
    • A description of any connections you see to Kozol's book.
